Lockdown Remote Learning

If the country/local area is placed in lockdown and only keyworker/vulnerable children are attending school, the following offer will be made available:

• Daily Zoom Meetings

• Remote learning via Google Classroom (KS1 provided with at least 3 hours, KS2 provided with at least 4 hours)

• PE Zoom sessions weekly

• Additional interventions

Whole Bubble Isolation

​

If a whole bubble is isolating, the learning for these children will continue remotely through Google Classroom. Please click on the ‘Google Classroom’ quick link on the main website page to find out more about how to use this.

Work provided will follow the remote learning expectations in the table above and following Government guidance of at least 3 hours for KS1 and 4 hours for KS2.

Individual Isolation

​

If individual children are isolating following contact with someone who has tested positive or if they are identified as vulnerable and have been advised to isolate, there are work packs readily available for the children to continue learning. All activities planned are linked to the topics being covered in the classroom.

Please tell school if you would prefer an emailed or paper copy of the pack when you inform us of their absence and this will be arranged.

Photographs or documents of completed work can be emailed to oxbridgelane@sbcschools.org.uk. Emails will be forwarded to the child’s teacher so the child can receive feedback on their work. Children can also take their completed pack into school when they return and their teacher will talk it through with them.
