Admissions
Our school participates in the admission arrangements determined by Stockton Borough Council. Places are allocated in accordance with the published oversubscription criteria. Once the Council has finalised allocations in the main admissions round, parents and carers who have been refused a place have the right to appeal. The appeals timetable will be published by 28 February each year. The timetable will include: a deadline for submitting appeals (allowing at least 20 school days following refusal notification), notification to appellants at least 10 school days before the hearing, and deadlines for submission of additional evidence. For standard round applications, appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal‑submission deadline. For in‑year applications, appeals will normally be heard within 30 school days of lodging the appeal. If you wish to apply for a place during the school year (in‑year admission), please contact the Council’s Admissions Team — if no place is available you may ask to be placed on the waiting list or submit an in‑year application, and should you be refused you retain the right to appeal under the same in‑year appeals timetable.
