Pupils in Years 4 and 5 have recently taken part in an inspiring Art Clay Workshop as part of the You and I exhibition organised by Yarm School. The session was based on the work of renowned local artist Mackenzie Thorpe, whose themes of love, identity and community guided the creative process. With the support of the amazing staff at Yarm School, each pupil sculpted a clay figure of themselves, exploring self-expression through shape and form. Their finished pieces will feature in a special community display at the Stockton Riverside development (expected to be completed in June 2026). It has been a fantastic experience that has celebrated individuality and the power of art to connect us all.
