Homework
​
Weekly homework is given out which consolidates learning taken place in school. Children are given a paper copy of this each Friday, and it is due the following Wednesday at the latest.

Reading/Spelling
​
Spellings given out on Friday as part of homework daily practice at home for a spelling quiz on the following Friday.
​
Reading 10-15 minutes per day and Reading record signed at least 4 times per week.

Additional Support for Learning
​
Mrs Carson, Mrs Uddin and Miss Cameron support all learners within lessons.
​
Mrs Carson provides additional support in the afternoon, to all children who have been identified in lesson time as requiring additional support.

National Assessments: Key Stage 2 Assessments

Year 6 will complete the following Key Stage 2 tests:

Maths Arithmetic

Teacher Assessments
Is carried out daily following the schools marking policy.
We also carry out half termly mock SAT tests
